"We have lived in the same property for 30 years and The Cambridge Home Organiser provided valuable support when preparing our cottage for sale. We discussed my expectations and vision and very calmly worked room to room. The transformation process was confident but sensitive, with me feeling part of the team – retaining our ‘home’ but improving every room.
The input received included reviewing the balance of each room layout, ensuring a clear function for each space and building an area of visual focus in each room e.g. a workspace area in the spare room, a drinks table with reflection and lighting in the dining room, as well as general decluttering. These changes were achieved with minimal financial outlay – swapping pieces between rooms and sourcing from cupboards, building up scenes – resulting in a refreshed more organised home.
The changes definitely improved our presentation on Rightmove (the agent’s photographer was very complimentary of our preparation work) and helped lead to increased numbers of viewings compared to friends’ sales happening simultaneously.
